This is the NeroxFinance editorial policy. It describes how the guides and calculators on this site are produced, and the standards we hold them to. Our purpose is education, so accuracy and clarity come before speed or volume. We would rather publish fewer guides that are correct and easy to follow than many that are rushed.
Sources we rely on
Wherever possible we work from primary material: regulator rules and consumer notices, exchange and index provider documentation, issuer disclosures and official statistics. Where a guide depends on a specific rule, limit or date, we name the source in a list at the end of the page. We do not rely on social media posts, forums or promotional material as evidence for facts.
How a guide is made
- Scope. We decide what a beginner needs from the topic and what should be left out.
- Drafting. Drafts may be prepared with the help of AI writing tools. A draft is only a starting point.
- Review. A human editor checks every factual statement against sources, rewrites unclear passages and removes anything that could read as a recommendation.
- Arithmetic. Every worked example is recalculated independently, and calculator outputs are tested against those examples.
- Risk wording. Pages about leverage, derivatives or crypto carry a clear risk warning.
Independence
We do not accept payment, gifts or affiliate commission from brokers, exchanges, fund managers or token issuers in return for coverage. We do not rank firms, publish "best" lists of real companies, or name individual shares or coins to buy. Illustrative numbers in examples are labelled as such and are never forecasts.
What we never do
- Offer accounts, trading, custody, signals or managed investments.
- Publish price predictions, performance claims or testimonials.
- Invent statistics, credentials or people.
- Link readers to trading platforms.
How calculators are built and tested
Each calculator shows the formula it uses on its own page, together with at least one worked example. Before publication we run those examples through the calculator and by hand, and compare the results. Calculators run entirely in your browser; the numbers you enter are not sent to us or stored. They deliberately leave out some real-world costs, such as spreads, commissions and financing, and each page says so.
Language and clarity
We write for readers who are new to investing and, often, reading in their second language. That means short sentences, terms defined on first use, and numbers shown with their working. We avoid hype words, urgency and anything that implies a trade or investment is certain to succeed. Where a topic is genuinely uncertain, we say so rather than smoothing it over.
Updates and corrections
Rules and market practices change. We review guides periodically and whenever a relevant rule changes, and each page shows the date it was last updated. If you find an error, tell us through the contact page with the page address and what you believe is wrong. Confirmed errors are corrected promptly; significant corrections are noted on the page.
